R27 Slim Meter Door and Frame in White W Door Open

R27 Replacement Door & Frame

The Ritherdon R27 replacement door and frame is designed for use on steel electricity meter back boxes of either “Mantel” or “Clifton” designs, as commonly used in high and medium rise social housing. Fabricated from a commercial grade stainless steel and powder coated to provide an attractive but durable finish.

The R27 is designed for quick and easy installation on to an existing back box, which is approximately 400 mm wide x 795 mm high.

  • Replaces existing damaged frames, fits onto back boxes.
  • Electricity warning symbol embossed on the door.
  • Left-hand opening, stainless steel piano hinge.
  • All units fitted with two cam locks and supplied with a triangular plastic key.
  • Powder coated, 1.2 mm Stainless Steel.
  • Available in RAL 9010 Satin White.

*Vertical separation is measured between slot centres on the fixing tabs.

**Please note that to fix over your meter box, the threaded studs in the back box must have the same vertical and horizontal separation as shown for the fixing tabs in the table above.

R27 Documentation:

Delivery if in Stock is 48hrs from receipt of order* for finished and painted stock, or within 5 working days, for finished stock that requires powder coating. For Natural Finish from stock, lead time is 4 working days.

For large quantity orders, non-stock items and FireSeals Made-to-Measure, the lead time is 4 working weeks.  

Any prewired feeder pillars and cabinets with electrical items have a lead time of 4 to 8 working weeks.

Current Design time for any new sizes of FireSeals or other products, please add 2 working weeks to stated lead times.

*Any proforma orders received need to be paid before the order is processed and lead times start.
