Steel Meter Boxes

Electric meter boxes from Ritherdon. These meter boxes are complete units, front and back box to be fitted for new builds.  For circumstances where metal is preferred or required.

When there is a need to protect the meter box from vandal attack, this can be a better choice than typical plastic meter boxes.

Ritherdon meter boxes are made to the dimensions specified in the Electricity Supply Industry Standard ESI 12-3. The range includes small, medium, and large boxes designed for different fixings:

• Flush mounted
• Semi recessed
• Surface mounted

The units are made of corrosion resistant commercial grade stainless steel or Zintec and are finished with white powder coating for added durability.

We have also developed the FireSeal Fire Rated Access Panels, a retrofit solution that provides 30, 60 and 90 minutes of fire protection for meter boxes and apertures that require fire protection.
