The R23 replacement door and frame is designed to repair the through-the-wall gas meter box. Although this is a fairly unusual box, these boxes have GRP doors and are susceptible to damage.
If you are unsure if the R23 is the correct repair unit for your meter box look for a meter box that allows you to read the meter from the inside or the outside of the property. This fairly unusual box is effectively a plastic tube through the wall of a property, allowing the meter to be easily read from the inside or the outside.

*Please note that to fix over your meter box, the vertical fixing tab separation must be less than the inside height of your meter box, and the horizontal fixing tab separation must be within approximately 10mm of the inside width of your meter box recess.
Delivery if in Stock is 48hrs from receipt of order* for finished and painted stock, or within 5 working days, for finished stock that requires powder coating. For Natural Finish from stock, lead time is 4 working days.
For large quantity orders, non-stock items and FireSeals Made-to-Measure, the lead time is 4 working weeks.
Any prewired feeder pillars and cabinets with electrical items have a lead time of 4 to 8 working weeks.
Current Design time for any new sizes of FireSeals or other products, please add 2 working weeks to stated lead times.
