What are our CT Chambers?
This week we are looking at the letter “C” as part of our A to Z of Ritherdon campaign. For this, we have chosen our CT Chamber and COP Remote Metering Panels.
The Ritherdon CT Chamber is designed to house current transformers for low voltage electrical supplies, rated up to 200 Amp, 400 Amp and 600 Amp.
The Ritherdon CT Chamber is UKPN approved and is compatible for use with all DNO (Distribution Network Operators) all across the country.
They can also be used as part of any BNO (Building Network Operator) site across England. BNOs are organisations that own or operate the electricity distribution network within a multiple occupancy building.
Each CT Chamber comes with their own CTs, each with their own test certificate as standard.

What are Our COP Remote Metering Panels?
Our COP Metering Panels facilitate the quick installation of meters designed for remote monitoring and controlling. This saves considerable installation time compared to sourcing and assembling the individual components separately. All of the available COP Meters from Ritherdon, the COP2, COP3 and COP5 models, all meet Electricity North West specifications. Each differ based on voltage (HV/LV), number of meter installations and compliance with the corresponding codes of practice, ensuring that our products meet a variety of customer needs. Each provides a pre-wired metal enclosure to simplify mounting the meters (please source meter separately). |
