2020 is Ritherdon’s 125th Birthday and as part of the planned celebration, we had hoped to have the biggest and best Charity Family Fun Day yet. However, due to the worldwide Covid-19 Pandemic, this like so many events, has had to be cancelled. This would have been Ritherdon’s 4th Annual Charity Family Fun Day.
Not only is this annual event a massive contributor to the local community, benefiting resident and businesses alike, it is also a great way to bring everyone together to raise money for a very worth cause.
That is why we could not let what would have been a huge fundraising event for such a worthy charity, pass by without doing what we could to help.
Child Action North West offer support to the most vulnerable children and young people in local communities; children facing poverty, violence, abuse, neglect and family breakdown.
The Coronavirus crisis means additional: isolation, fear and uncertainty.

The Dog Show Winners
Our first Dog Show proved to be a great success and brought a variety of dogs and their owners from across the town.
This would have been Ritherdon’s 4th Annual Charity Family Fun Day, which would have been celebrated this July weekend. This would have been our biggest fundraising event of the year.
