All through the month of April Ritherdon has hosted artist Nicola Ellis. The factory has been her playground, inspired by large stainless steel panels and powder coated paintings. The sculpture is now ready and we would like you to join us this Saturday and Sunday to see the artwork and enjoy a great day out. Nicola has been inspired by Ritherdon’s rich history of over 120 years, the factory and its manufacturing capability and the three resilient generations of one family that make Ritherdon what it is today. From its founder Percy Ritherdon and his interest in chemistry and magic to Ben Ritherdon and the team, passionate about innovation and product design.
The artwork is titled Chemistry and Magic Straight Down the Line and will be displayed this Saturday and Sunday at the corner of BBC Radio Lancashire Blackburn inside the Gatehouse at Market Street Lane, BB2 2DF.
