Ritherdon enclosures covered in the powder coating experiments made as part of the Better Factory project with resident artist Nicola Ellis are exhibiting at this year’s GLUE Amsterdam connected by design festival in  Amsterdam.

The GLUE festival is a four-day, citywide route of Amsterdam designers, architects, brands, labels, showrooms, galleries, and academies.

The Ritherdon ‘confetti pillars’ will be exhibited alongside the outcome of other Better Factory Factory projects at Waag Futurelab which is an institution made up of twelve research labs focused on technology and how it interacts with society. Find out more about Nicola Ellis exhibit Powder to Place.

Ritherdon have had the pleasure of working with artist Nicola Ellis for quite a few years now! Read a bit more about how it all started with an artist in the factory.

During this time and in collaboration with Better Factory, the featured stainless steel enclosures were powder coated in our very own Paint Plant, using only recycled powder. 

The festival is this weekend, 19th to 22nd of September, so if you are in Amsterdam be sure to catch it!
