Ritherdon YouTube Blog:
What is on our YouTube Channel?
Recently at Ritherdon we have been breathing new life into our YouTube channel. With digital and video marketing on the rise, in keeping with the times, we have updated our channel to make sure more customers know about us and our products.
What you will find on the Ritherdon YouTube Channel?
We have been adding various pieces of content to our channel, everything from video shorts to full length video.
Installation Videos:
In the past some customers have given us feedback asking for a little more direction when it comes to installing our products, so we have been creating installation videos for various cabinets and enclosures to help customers if they are having difficulty.
Our most recent installation video, for our Passively Safe Cabinet, contained answers to questions our customers asked us regarding what tools and procedures are needed to install the cabinet.
With the installation videos, we get to actively address customer feedback whilst providing a further method of instruction.
Production Videos:
We manufacture lots of different products in our factory, each with varying processes. With these videos we get to let everyone see the different process and everything we do to ensure our customers get quality products each time.
The videos we created for our RMC cabinet and our NH 640 video showed each product from its beginning to its inception, highlighting just how similar yet different our products are and the skill and teamwork everyone in the factory demonstrates to complete customer requests.
These videos let people see the inner workings of our factory and just how skilled and committed our workforce is.
Crash Testing and Timelapses:
Our more miscellaneous videos take advantage of unique outings and events happening inside and outside the factory that provide video content we usually might not have access to.
The videos for the crash test day and Paintshop timelapse video were videos based on events that happen once every few months/years so their rarity make them fun opportunities to show parts of the business members of the public don’t know much about.
Our miscellaneous videos work to add variety to the channel and help diversify the rest of our content.
YouTube Shorts:
These shorts are the most popular form of video content on the internet right now and we are hoping to create quick snippets that showcase our work with a bit of added personality.
Our paint shop colouring and spinning shorts are examples of our regular work with a bit of a comedic edge, making digestible content that doesn’t require any prior knowledge of manufacturing.
The accessible nature of short form content is that it helps to expand our customer base and expose our work to non-manufacturing audiences.
Overall, our YouTube channel has become a great asset for us. It allows us to actively address customer feedback, show off our craftsmanship and processes, and create fun and engaging content for our customers. We are constantly looking for new ways to showcase our products and services, and we are excited to see what the future holds for us on our YouTube channel.
