Power Supply Kiosk Range:
Ritherdon’s range of Power Supply Kiosks, are designed to house electrical equipment that supplies electricity to larger properties and builds.
All models are weatherproof with peaked roofs and two separate compartments, one for incoming supply and one for the consumer. They can be constructed from 4003, 304, and 316 Grade 2mm Stainless Steel meaning they can be installed inland or by the coast. They are faster to install than brick construction and much more durable than GRP enclosures.
The Power Supply Kiosks come in 2 different types, the PS (Permanent Supply Kiosks) and the TBS (Temporary Supply Kiosks).
PS (Permanent Supply Kiosks):
The PS Kiosks are designed to act as a permanent power provider for large properties such as multiple occupancy residential buildings, schools, offices etc.
Our Permanent Supply Kisoks have 2 models, our PS60 and PS300. Our PS60 is the smaller version of our cabinet, being used for housing equipment typically of up to 100 A, or 60 to 70 kVA, with our larger PS300 being able to house electrical equipment typically rated up to 430 A, or 309 kVA.
The PS300 can also house CT chambers, allowing this enclosure to be compatible with DNO (Distribution Network Operators) and BNO (Building Network Operator) providers across the UK.
PS enclosures come in black, dark grey, light grey, and dark green, with a natural finish available for the PS60. These enclosures are kept secure with 2 tri key locks with one central hasp and staple for the PS60, and a 3-point locking system with padlockable handle and shroud for the PS300.
Both versions have an IK10 impact rating and IP24 rating for models with ventilation louvers and an IP46 rating for models without.
TBS (Temporary Supply Cabinet):
The TBS Kiosks, TBS60, and TBS300 follow a similar design to the PS60 and PS300, each TBS sharing the same equipment capacity, security options, IP, and IK ratings as their PS counterparts. This also includes the same CT chamber housing installation capacity within the TBS300.
The main difference between the PS and TBS is that the TBS are designed for only temporary usage in areas such as construction sites, and both are only available in RAL traffic red powder coating finish to indicate their temporary usage.
