Ritherdon will be supporting ITAI Crash Day 2025, in conjunction with Passive Safety UK, and you will find us exhibiting at Stand 3.
This is a day to be experienced, and one not to miss if you are an industry professional with an interest in the outcomes of collisions. It is a remarkable event organised by the Institute of Traffic Accident Investigators, together with Passive Safety UK, long standing advocate for passive safe approach to road safety.
The day is free to attend to help raise awareness about passive road safety and support the ongoing effort to improve collision investigation and ultimately, road safety.
The event is packed with live crash demonstrations, and one of the most exciting aspects is being able to walk onto the crash track afterwards and inspect the damage up close. It is also a great opportunity to catch up with industry colleagues and attend a range of talks from sector experts.
Last year, we participated with a traditional steel roadside cabinet, and it truly was unforgiving, as you can see in the video. The vehicle hit almost head on, causing considerable damage.
That is why we are even more excited to be back this year, because this time, we are not just bringing a traditional steel cabinet, we are also putting Ritherdon’s Passively Safe Cabinet to the test, on the same track. It is a rare chance to see the difference between the two in a live crash scenario.
Managing Director, Ben Ritherdon, will also be delivering an insightful presentation on the design, development and use cases of our Passively Safe Cabinet, and why we believe it can make a real difference to roadside safety.
