Subcontract Metalwork and Powder Coating
Here at Ritherdon we take pride in having top tier facilities to create our products, but we understand that some businesses may not have access to certain equipment or tools to create the parts needed for their products.
We believe we can help. Here at Ritherdon we carry out Metalwork services, offering subcontracting service for customers who might need a little help.
We have been doing metalwork for well over 100 years and we are happy to share our knowledge and experience with other companies. Our most recent example would be the work with Heatrod Elements.
Heatrod Elements have been specialists in manufacturing for 120 years, specialising in industrial immersion heaters with offices all over the world including having a factory in Bolton.
After connecting with the Bolton branch through the manufacturing peer network, The Manufacturers Alliance, Heatrod Elements reached out to us to help finish the metal and paintwork on their Stock Immersion Heaters.
Taking the customers designs, we adapted our metalwork facilities to print a prototype Immersion Heater. After submitting the prototype, we were given the all clear to continue production, finishing the construction of the base product within less than a month.
After finishing the batch construction, we followed the specific instructions offered by the customer, adapting our paint shop facilities to provide a suitable durable polyester powder coating the parts for the heaters a deep red coloring.
Now, with the majority of boxes coated and ready to be shipped out on schedule, our local proximity to one another’s factories has also allowed us to minimise environmental impact with the short journey.
