Add Optional Extras to Your Enclosures:
Our product range offers a multitude of accessories for all our electrical enclosures. First, to power any accessories customers must first have a Consumer Unit.
Consumer Units:
A power distributing system, the Consumer Unit comes prewired with a 100A isolator which allows it to be compatible with other enclosure add-on kits and accessories, i.e. Cabinet Heater, Cabinet Fan, Cabinet Socket etc, and provide them with power.
The Consumer Unit comes in 2 size options, and 8way unit or a 6way unit and can be these installed by us or by the customer depending on preference.
LED Light Kit:
The Cabinet LED Light Kit uses a 6w black bulkhead light that is mounted at the top of each cabinet and fixed to the backboard. A bracket is used for mounting to ensure the luminaire faces down into the cabinet to maximise the scope of the light.
A separate metal-clad light switch is fitted to control the light which is connected to the consumer unit using metal conduit bushes to protect all cabling.
Heater and Cooling Fan Kits:
The Heater Kits are fed from a 6amp Type B single pole RCBO and use a twin enclosure thermostat within the installation process to set the temperature.
Our Heating Kits measure the internal cabinet temperature using the thermostat, activating the tubular heater mounted directly to the cabinet backboard, placed generally at the bottom, if the temperature falls too low.
The Cabinet Cooling Kit is made up of a carbon filter, placed at the incoming ventilation points on both the right and left sides of the cabinet to aid in reducing contaminated air being pulled in. The Ac Axial fans supplied have a rating of 230v & 160m3/H.
Cabinet Double Socket Kit:
The Cabinet Double Socket Kit is a 13a 2 gang RCD, metal clad, switched socket. It Is fed from a 6A Type B single pole MCB. The socket is supplied with connecting metal conduit bushes directly to the consumer unit to protect the cabling. The socket is mounted directly onto the cabinet backboard via a separate socket mounting board.
RB Cabinet Shelf Kit:
The Cabinet Shelf Kit is to help keep internal circuitry ordered and neat. These shelves use welded-in corner posts to mount the cabinet shelves to maximise their strength. Multiple fixing locations are provided to adjust the height of the shelf depending on the equipment being used.
Access Panels:
Access Panels are designed for RB Cabinets. Available for RB600 up to RB1550 sizes.
Access Panels are a small door that allows easier entry for cables into an RB Cabinet. It is locked using two cam-locks and fitted onto cabinet with M3 screws and nyloc nuts.
Hinges open with a strong piano hinge, fitted with the same neoprene seal as the RB Cabinet doors, to keep water out of the cabinet. We offer 3 different fitting location options, left side, right side and door, for the RB Cabinet range.
RB Swing Rack Cabinets and Fixed Rack Cabinets:
The Swing Rack Kit and The Fixed Rack Kit helps with mounting electronic components to an RB cabinet for extra space.
The Swing Rack frame allows for an opening of 180 degrees for easier access and fitting of the equipment. The Rack size is 19 inches with a height of 18 U and is 450mm wide, available for RB800, RB1000, RB1250 and RB1550 cabinets.
A Fixed Rack is 450mm wide in 19 inches with a height of 21U available for RB600, RB800, RB1000 and RB1250 cabinets. This standard-sized rack is fitted to the left-hand side of the cabinet (front-facing the cabinet) unless otherwise requested.
