Factory Investment: New Powder Coating Paint Plant
Ritherdon have invested in a new paint shop with a modern, top of the line, bespoke powder coating booth from Gema UK & Ireland world-leading specialist in powder coating technology.
The new powder coating paint plant will boost efficiency and will help us further reduce the environmental impact of our manufacturing process.
It is the latest generation Swiss premium Magic Compact line, complete with OC07 OptiCentre, SIT dense phase pump technology, with batch management and energy optimisation system.
The refit of the new paint shop has been carried out during the break and completed this week. There will naturally be some training to get the most out of the new equipment. We look forward to optimising the powder coating process to get the most out of the latest technology and adapting it to our manufacturing process with the expert tech support from Gema Service Net.
Thanks to all our customers their patience, while we’ve been shut down for the installation. We are now getting back up to speed with orders and start topping painted stock, so customers can benefit from the best lead times possible.
The Ritherdon production team have worked hard to keep disruption to a minimum. Also many thanks also to the Gema team and to all of Team Ritherdon for all their hard work during this process.
The new state-of-the-art powder coating plant keeps Ritherdon providing the best powder coated finish, quality and performance.
We look forward to increasing our capacity, providing the best paint finish for our products and most importantly doing so in an eco-friendly way. Making use of the advanced technology that allows the OptiCenter to reclaim up to 95% of the powder used, after being recovered and filtered, with minimal waste at the end of the process.
