Misadventures in Marketing: April 2022
Soooo remember last month when I said I didn’t catch covid
Well, funny Story
Yes, it has indeed finally happened folks, this April I finally managed to get Covid and on a bank holiday weekend no less. Starting to think last months head cold might have been some incredible foreshadowing.
It seems the universe has a sense of humor.
Well because of this I have spent the better part of April quarantined. Thankfully the symptoms were not so bad, keeping my sense of smell and taste in return for feeling fatigued and having a prolonged cough, that somehow made me feel even more tired.
Covid unfortunately led to quite the delay in projects, including creating a video that shows one of our more popular RMC cabinet products being made for our YouTube channel and posting new blogs on manufacturing onto our website.

Still, its not all bad. Saving fuel from lack of travel and wearing my pajamas whilst working never gets old. It also gave me the opportunity to finally begin my coursework portfolio.
A summary of the marketing campaigns I have worked on in the last year, it is a very comprehensive document requiring everything from screenshots of my work to detailed descriptions of how I contributed to the campaigns themselves.
Suffice to say, with this much work, it is probably best I had a few days on my own to focus.
Even so I did eventually recover and managed to still get some time in at the office. I learned how to video edit with Photoshop and create a Gif for our social media post which was incredibly well received in the office.
Wish I could have been there to see it.
Thankfully the business has also exceeded our revenue target for the second month running which has been a great start to the year.
Well now I am Covid free, and hopefully staying that way, It seems the next month is going to involve playing catch-up with blogging and content creation as well as continuing with my portfolio.
Wish me luck.
