Today, Ritherdon presented local charity Child Action North West (CANW) with the funds raised from our Charity Fun Day. Every year, we look forward to organising our annual Charity Fun Day as it’s an opportunity for Ritherdon to give back to the local community. We chose CANW as a local charity because of the important work they carry out with children and young adults in Blackburn, Darwen and the surrounding areas in Lancashire and the North West.
Established in 1886, CANW has spent over 100 years supporting young people from various backgrounds in the Northwest, helping with issues from substance abuse to low self-esteem, working with organisations to provide access to training and opportunities so children can improve and enrich their lives.
It’s important for us as a local company to give back to our local community. This is why we’ve made a commitment to hosting a charity fun day every year for a local charity. This year’s Ritherdon Family Fun day held last July was a resounding success and we felt very at ease and supported by CANW. We’ve decided that we will make Child Action North West our chosen charity partner.
